his site is actually a collection of websites created over the years, now placed online (in some case back online) at tomrue.net. Some of this material was created or collected for teaching, some for use in clinical practice as a mental health and substance abuse counselor, and some of it in areas of my personal interests - including but not limited to psychology, health, history, news and political reporting, and publishing. All original text and images are copyright protected and may not be reproduced without the creator's permission.

If on some future visit you find this website unavailable, it may be because the host server is powered down for system maintenance, weather conditions, or for other reasons. I maintain this server myself out of my home and occasionally shut it down without notice. Sorry. You can try Google cache or the Internet Archive if it's really urgent.

Articles on human development across the life-span used to be linked from the page entitled "Taking Care of Yourself"; and on a separate index page articles pertaining to intimate relationships and sexuality and health; as well as pages with articles and links pertaining to gender-specific articles for women and men. Some of this information is marked as not for children. Also included are articles, Powerpoint slide-shows, public documents, and links relating to human development and wellness — emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and physical. Most of the links that were previously on the Health pages have been moved to the Vitruvian Wiki

In the the section of this site devoted to ancestors and genealogy, details about living relatives are deliberately excluded. If you find an exception, please tell me and I'll fix it.
